Left: Nigel Farage insults John Bercow on the first day or parliament
Right: John Bercow tears into Nigel Farage on gb news
"With Nigel, instead of taking it on the chin and recognising that in fact to date Brexit has been a grotesque blunder on the biggest foreign policy mistake in the post war period"
"What Nigel wants to do, because he can't abandon the religiosity of his life long support for Brexit, is to blame someone else"
"It's mysterious forces. It's a fifth or sixth estate. It's those machiavellian types working night and day to frustrate the will of the British people"
"It is nonsense on stilts, and to be honest, I say to you in all politeness and candour: you can do a bit better than that"
"Why not start by admitting first that people are poorer, wages are down, foreign direct investment has slumped, sterling has taken a permanent 10% dip, the economy has been hit to the tune of £100 billion a year"
Hello @BBCNews@itvnews@SkyNews@Channel4News@Channel5N etc . Some of you have mentioned this but can I point out that it’s much more important than two blokes having a spat about what they might do about everything else in the next 5 years . . . https://t.co/h20B9Hf6fV
If the Guardian is the only paper to front page this then I can’t see how we can make it. People with influence need to urgently call out the Mail and The Sun and their suppression of the climate change reality - or the public will never demand what’s necessary. This situation is madness.
