The Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court has directed Adiala Jail authorities to collect, verify, register and hand over the signed vakalatnamas of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha to their defence counsel. The direction came after lawyers raised concerns over delays in receiving the documents needed to file their post-arrest bail applications. The jail authorities told the court that an inquiry was underway regarding the signatures on Hadi’s vakalatnama. The court adjourned further proceedings until September 26.
