I’ve doubted a lot of my ideas concerning non-linear temporal perception—especially as I’ve stepped away from thinking about the topic—but the deeper I investigate into my awakening, the more I think there’s really something noteworthy in there.
“The boat that you crossed the river on must be abandoned at the shore” is such a beautiful line. But even the conceptions of crossing a river, a shore, a boat, a journey in the first place, must too go. How lovely.
Some strangers' suffering seen and overheard recently while walking about town:
A young mother, haggard and harried, yelling at her wailing baby, the child in pain from the cold and biting wind,
"Come on, Jesus! You're not dying! Shut up, would you?"
Two teenage girls, one to the other, her voice wavering, desperate,
"...just broke up with you. I'm not going to let you cut yourself, not going to let you self-harm."
May all suffering without exception be relieved, may everyone live free, at ease, peaceful and content.
🙏🤲❤️

Lack of resistance often looks like I’m doing the ‘wrong thing’ until hindsight sets in and it was the perfect action. It’s the bell curve meme; playing dumb is usually the highest iq thing to do
