I have this afternoon on behalf of H.E president @KagutaMuseveni officially opened the 30th Uganda International Trade Fair 2024 organised by the @newsUMA at Lugogo show grounds running from 2nd to 10th October 2024.

The President is grateful to note that over the years, we have witnessed incredible growth in Uganda's industrial sector, expanding across key industries such as food processing, textiles, construction materials, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, sugar, soap, and vegetable oil. These industries now contribute 25.4% to Uganda's GDP, broaden the tax base by 30.3%, and have created jobs for over 2 million Ugandans.

As a result of the prevailing conducive environment ushered in by the @NRMOnline, these trade Fairs organised annually have been a cornerstone of industrial growth, economic development, and international collaboration attracting over 1,360 exhibitors from across the globe.
