I tried to make this title sequence six months ago, but the AI tools just weren’t up to it. Today it’s a different story. Sound on! 🔊

Since the launch of ChatGPT’s 4o image generator last week, I’ve been testing a new workflow to bring my characters - Riley Harper and her dog, Scout - to life from different angles.

It’s not perfect, but the character consistency is impressive, even when I’ve asked for tricky changes like: “show them from behind”. I've loved being able to create images iteratively, using natural language prompts, and the model's understanding of 3D space is currently unmatched.

What’s also blown me away is how far AI video generators have come. Animating from still images used to be slow-motion and unnatural - now, both the characters and the camera can move dynamically.

Special mention to recently launched Higgsfield AI which enabled me to spin Riley in a 360 orbit, crane the camera above her and Scout and fly with them through the air. The model also gave me some of the best AI character animations I've seen.
