it is an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty, there is going to be a period when you are going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life. the only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself.
Underrated life advice: Just be easy to work with. Show up on time. Do what you said you'd do. Bring solutions, not problems. Never create drama. Be responsive. Be emotionally consistent. Hit gym everyday. Be kind. People will always want to support someone who just makes their life easier.
Kill the nice guy inside you and become ruthless. Life is rough on men, and the world will punish softness without boundaries. Stop begging, overexplaining, rescuing, and tolerating disrespect. Keep your heart, but lose the need to be liked.
The larger majority of life is really just lessons. You learn what you’re good at and what you’re not good at; what you like and what you don’t; what matters and what doesn’t. Just lessons. The difference is whether or not you learn.
Go to church bruv. Dont fall for that propaganda of I pray alone. “When two or more are gathered in my presence, there I am in their midst”. Praying alone is good. But you need fellowship. You need the encouragement of other believers.
Gotta STAY CLEAR of folks who don't value the small sacrifices you make... like spending money you barely got, pulling up when you tired, giving advice, carrying their problems, or being the one who always checks in first. Some people only love the benefits, never the person. They'll use your energy just to go pour it into everybody but the one who's actually helping them.
