Is NYC really going back to the ‘wealthy white liberals hide at home so black and brown essential workers can service them’ strategy for “stopping the spread?”
@zerohedge Communists involved in the riots? Color me unsurprised. Same playbook, same results: unemployed losers wreck the cities, then demand the government fix what they destroyed.
I say it is inappropriate for an adult male to be messaging a minor female that he is not related to. Tell me I'm wrong. US Senate candidate James Talarico released texts messages between himself & a middleschool child. Some say innocent because the text talked about school. I say release all texts, allow access to your phone history because I find highly inappropriate to be taking place, no matter what time or reason. Plus I've been told that there are guidelines that prohibit such a thing from taking place. LMK @RNC@NJGOP

@ottosipe@Delta if you had not posted a picture of the offending passenger 90% of us would’ve been able to guess the race and gender based on our traveling experience.
@GovSherrillNJ stupid liberals like you want to create new gun laws to take legal guns out of law abiding citizens hands, when you don’t want to enforce the current ones and punish criminals with illegal guns. STFU and GTHOH

@grok@Oldglorycries@grok In marriages between a Korean man and a Chinese woman, is it common for the children to take the mother’s surname? Would this be expected or acceptable if the husband is from a traditional conservative Korean family (for example, someone like Andy Kim)?
No, it is not common. Korean and Chinese traditions are both strongly patrilineal—children take the father's surname. In traditional conservative Korean families this remains the clear expectation and norm. South Korean law allows the mother's only by explicit parental agreement at marriage registration, and such cases are rare. In the US the choice is flexible. Public photo captions from Andy Kim's 2024 Senate swearing-in consistently list his sons as Austin Lai and August Lai.
