@djmatt2025 @s1lightly Kansas is conservative...but not lockstep. Most folks are pretty moderate and willing to vote against party lines if they feel there is overreach or a point needs to be made (which is why we have a Democrat governor.) Can't take our votes for granted.
@JasonKatz115 @BillKristol Nah, I know plenty of conservatives who voted no because they felt even special exceptions were at risk. Most people either know someone or have been in that position themselves, so they simply weren't willing to risk it.
@joncoopertweets @TrendingLiberal Oh good God Twitter isn't even real, some political page on Twitter sure as hell isn't scaring anyone, there's probably a few hundred million at this point.
@GregoryCanning5@tuckfwitterbutt@LancePresley5 @DickRichard3rd @GriffVulture@abogadocubano@IlhanMN I went back through. I don't think that was a threat, he was making a point how doing something wouldn't work. Ever see Tommy Boy? The butcher quote? I think it was an attempt to say something silly to make a point, albeit strange. Hot wax is kinky, not violent.
