Celebrating Labor Day weekend cooking meat over fire
2 briskets, 4 slabs pork ribs, andouille sausage, and boudin
Getting the meat sweats just typing this
Who else is BBQing this weekend?
Been making my own beef tallow for years, but ashamed to admit I never once considered using it for cooking eggs until today…why did it take me this long? If you haven’t done it, give it a try
GFM!
@bowtiedbiped @ErinQue85280110 @bowtiedgreasemo Interesting…would definitely try @BowTiedLoon then. I can only speak from personal experience with em but surely he can go beyond that
@BowTiedGlobe Not to be a reply guy, but worth flagging tax residency typically dictates the income on which to be taxed (worldwide vs. country sourced). Can be NR and still taxed on smaller amounts in country. Can cause a lot of issues (more so in non DTT) cuz ppl think <183 means no tax
@bowtiedhalibut@bowtiedflyfishr We use holiday weekends to teach the kids the basics and develop their skills. Toss some hotdogs on a hook and cast it in a canal…hardheads can’t resist. Lots of catching makes it fun for them, and I don’t mind avoiding the crowds at the ramp or on the water 👍
@BowTiedBenji One of the things I like most about BBQ…putting a brisket on at 3:00a then about 3 hrs of pure quiet sitting outside with a coffee watching a fire and waiting for sunrise. Many problems solved in that serene window
@ErinQue85280110 @Bowtiedsmilodon If they get one, toss it in the freezer and I’ll pick it up in Oct when I’m in FL…nothing beats a smoked turkey at Thanksgiving 👍
