What’s happening this year? We are taking a short break from the Butetown Mile in 2024, and are focusing on a schools event to promote running and training to run a mile. Next year we will be back with our best event ever!
1 in 8 men get #prostatecancer 1 in 4 if black. An actress I bumped into at the theatre asked me to tell her something that might persuade her brother to get a PSA test, so I took her phone & recorded this which @devon_malcolm below & many others in the black community shared via whats app! This is part of that recording, the whole message was 4 minutes which is a bit too long for X. But as it’s had such an unexpected impact I thought I would share some of the recording here. I hope it helps persuade more men and women; black and white, to join the conversation and take action. A simple PSA blood test saves lives🙏🏽😌
Oh, and her brother got tested and passed this video on, so please do the same. Thank you😊
