People tend to do so. She doesn’t appreciate it. She just wants him out of her personal space, she doesn’t particularly like threatening people whether they take her seriously or not.

[𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚 @TxeRabidHyena]

Where is the underestimating? Just saying that pain isn't a good way to threaten him

Death isn't either not scared of death

Just kind of

Insane

[𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒. @ButlNeedPeace]

What does he think? It’s not the best idea to underestimate her.

And trust that it would be more than just one rat biting him.

[𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚 @TxeRabidHyena]

Once again

Is that a threat?

Doesn't sound like one. He's pretty used to being bit by people and by animals. Especially rats.

She’s going to do it. Maybe call in some of her friends.

[𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚 @TxeRabidHyena]

Is that meant to be a threat?

[𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒. @ButlNeedPeace]

…. She is going to bite him.

clean up her life.

[𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒. @ButlNeedPeace]

Her smile returns full force as he leans into her touch, thumb brushing against his cheek and the stubble of his beard.

“We should catch up, no? Maybe have some time to ourselves now that we have it.” It had been a while since she’s gotten to talk to anyone in her attempts to-

[𝐂𝐚𝐩’𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠 @RangsComeBack]

That’s all they would ever be. Toys that Waller could dump out and play with, no matter the consequences. But that didn’t matter.

He made it back from yet another suicide mission, and he was able to see Cleo once again. Smiling, he leaned into her touch.

“And I’m glad that —

[𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒. @ButlNeedPeace]

Waller still had her claws in all of them yet mattered nothing to her. Just toys to be thrown away. But now was not the time to think on something so gloomy when her favorite person is back!

[𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒. @ButlNeedPeace]

Cleo settles back onto her and looks up at the man with an adoring smile on her face, hands resting on his cheeks. Though her smile fades ever so slightly at the mention of Waller.

“I’m just glad you’re back safe and sound. I worry about you, you know.” Especially with how-

[𝐂𝐚𝐩’𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠 @RangsComeBack]

Boomer finally let up the squeezing, allowing her to get back onto her feet.

“Well ya look good! Waller had me go on another mission. Lasted a bit longer than I wanted it to.”

[𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒. @ButlNeedPeace]

A slight groan leaves her at the tight squeeze before it turns into a giggle.

“I’ve been busy myself just trying to get my life together. Where have you been?! I’ve missed you.”

[𝐂𝐚𝐩’𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠 @RangsComeBack]

His arms immediately wrap around her as he laughs, squeezing tight.

“ ‘Ey, Cleo! How ya been?”

[𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒. @ButlNeedPeace]

She is awake and one of her favorite people has returned. Maybe mornings aren’t always so bad.

[𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒. @ButlNeedPeace]

Cue her practically bouncing up and down as she bounds towards him, arms open for a hug.

“Digger!”

[𝐂𝐚𝐩’𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠 @RangsComeBack]

A boomerang whips through the air, coming back to land in his grip.

Guess boomerangs always do come back, huh?

[𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒. @ButlNeedPeace]

A truly cruel and unjust supervillain. Why must they wake every morning?
