Ohio state left butler a big steaming pile when thad left them and they stole holtmann/staff at an awful time. Now many buckeye fans are jealous. Ball don’t lie or something.
@ButlerWay it’s incredible. Embarrassing really. On so many levels. Both the content and delivery were so JV. At best, it’s really bad optics. And makes you realize how beyond lucky they are to get/have thad right now
Been off the radar all day and just watched today’s introduction. My jaw dropped at danko’s targeted, defensive rambling about budget. Then I listened to the main event and now ready to run through a brick wall with Thad.
You knew there was a plan. You just didn’t know it was best case scenario, all things considered. Thad brings program back, grooms next coach, moves upstairs when Barry retires. LFG.
I never thought ron nored would want to leave the nba track. And ultimately the inexperience as a HC and recruiting isn’t ideal now imo. But if butler continues to stay inbred, he’d be the guy to take a chance on. It’d be hard to not be excited about his ceiling at BU.
Butler’s last game was 22 DAYS AGO, but Collier waited until today because the buyout dropped SIGNIFICANTLY.
All he did here by waiting this long was hurt the chances of Lavall and more importantly, the assistants, getting other jobs.
This is really sad on part of Collier.
@BlairDMckee with all due respect, you can’t watch butler and tell me the talent is there. It’s just not. That’s the biggest part of the problem. Which ultimately falls on the HC.
