Yesterday we hosted the very bravest and hardiest of local teens... Through one of the wettest, muddiest days yet this year, they managed to plant over 100 native trees, build a wattle fence, landscape our new Saxon garden, and start work on a woven Mesolithic shelter!
We've pulled together everything you might need to know about the full moon this year in our latest blog post, including dates and times, traditional names, star signs, and even some ancient insights from the distant past. Mark your months the ancient way: https://t.co/o1ChrVdi5g
Keep an eye on the skies tonight for the first full moon of 2025 β¨ Wherever you are in the world, you're seeing the same sight that dazzled ancient Mesopotamian farmers, Celtic druids, Roman philosophers, Aztec priests, and more. The moon has always been important to us π

Meet the Deer Queen and Holly King! Inspired by characters from folklore and history, these magical winter beings care for the land in the colder months βοΈ
Here's how we created our versions of these ancient characters
β¬οΈ
π¦ The Deer Queen is inspired by many mythical deer in history, from Santa Claus' reindeer to deer tattoos on the 2500-year-old Siberian Ice Maiden. She balances the season with her feminine energy and connection to nature -- did you know, even Santa's reindeer are all female?
As always, we're looking for the right person not the perfect CV, so even if you feel this doesn't all apply to you, if you're keen please do still reach out! We want to hear from you π
