The Butte County Sheriff’s Office has issued an EVACUATION WARNING due to a wildfire in the community of Feather Falls near Blackhawk Trail and Craig Access, in zone 665. Prepare to evacuate.
Prepping for today's #CamelotRx Prescribed Burn. Good briefing for the crews, and we will be conducting a test burn shortly. Off Clark Road/Hwy 171 south of Butte College. Smoke will be visible in the area throughout the day. This is a control burn. Please do not call 9-1-1.
REMINDER. CAL FIRE/Butte County will start burning grasslands around Thermalito tomorrow. This series of prescribed fire may take several days to complete based on conditions. See map for specific locations. PLEASE DO NOT CALL 911 TO REPORT OR INQUIRE ABOUT THE SMOKE IN THE AREA.
Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility will be closed on April 20th for Easter.
The facility continues to experience extended wait times due to debris removal efforts, so be sure to check the traffic camera before visiting.
