we help you buy trillion-dollar equities with a 50% downpayment, on @robinhoodcrypto
we build tokenized equity-backed mortgages and consolidated annuities
We are putting our finishing touches on our points program. We would love to onboard meaningful communities from RHC and elsewhere to be whitelisted to participate in the Genesis pool. Who should we be talking to?
Looking at you @standard_rsv ;)
Very, very excited for @RobinhoodCrypto . Send me a DM to partner with us for the launch whitelist. For those that missed it, @ButtonDeFi offers permissionless "mortgages" for purchasing trillion-dollar company equities.
We are finally deployed on @RobinhoodCrypto mainnet.
Please go check things out, and play around on testnet. Let us know what you think.
We are putting the final touches on our points and partnership plans for our launch in about three weeks. Stay tuned!
Rumor mill is saying the SEC is gearing up to revamp KYC requirements so users only need to KYC once to access tokenized securities onchain.
Our sources are saying this would enable composability across different onchain venues & tokenization platforms to let users clear more volume by splitting orders across venues using a zk based identity system.
We launched on @RobinhoodCrypto because mortgage-like credit works best against durable real assets -- whether that is a house or shares in trillion-dollar companies. Buttonwood's market is big and not big.
- Big because we are targetting a market worth trillions of dollars.
- Not big because this cannot be scaled to the long tail of higher-volatility and lower-quality assets, whether equities or crypto tokens.
As you will notice, we currently list about 12 tokenized assets on the platform. Over the next 3-5 years this might expand to about 15. Maximum 20 if we get some dark horse frontier labs IPOing at above $1T.
Buttonwood gives users “mortgages” to buy trillion-dollar company tokenized equities, after a 50 percent downpayment, on @RobinhoodCrypto
- These mortgages are convertible if a user chooses — meaning, if the purchased equity or token appreciates by 50 percent or more, the mortgage is automatically repaid with part of the underlying equity tokens.
- Meanwhile, lenders receive a fungible “consol” (consolidated annuity) token representing their loaned funds.
As a result, lenders receive market upside exposure in addition to lending interest (including tailwinds from AI), while borrowers gain protection from liquidations.
The app is now live for testnet and can be found at https://t.co/4bC89HJJIQ and the white paper is at https://t.co/cAXdmmuDSP
More coming soon

Alpha launch incoming. Our smart contracts will be available for use, but users will be capped to a safe $1K per wallet for now. Devs testing this in-house.
Hyperliquid
It's only a "Strategy company" if it comes from the "convertible credit" region of Finance.
Using fees from random activities to buy an asset doesn't make you "the strategy" of something.
@aggcult@gabrielleydon@Rahim_mahtab Appreciate the shout-out
We use convertible credit to build on-chain strategy DAOs.
We just deployed on testnet two days ago...
