@henrywinter Completely right; like many, I thought Parish should dismiss Glasner after seemingly making disloyal comments while scheming to secretly get a better job. He knew the type of club Palace were when he took on the role and Guehi's departure was predictable. Parish, a proper CP fan
@KeruboSk As a boy (1960's) , I spoke to a very old man who, as a young boy, met an old soldier who had fought in the Battle of Waterloo (1815). They, in turn, will have been born in the 1700's.
Last season when Palace fans were en route to Wembley, they all stopped to pay their respects to a military veteran passing by.
Got a lot of time for that, love it! 👏❤️
@SH20CPFC Based on the Premier League performances, he really should be long gone. Only assume Parish and Co. believe he might come up trumps in Europe
#Glasner#cpfc Rather like going to church where the vicar announces that he's going to stop believing in God in a few weeks but in the meantime... 'everything's fine'.
@OllieHolt22 Whatever you think of Parish, he represents the long term stability that saved Palace and, forward from that, taken the club to the most successful period in its history. Maybe, he's a cnut but he's a Palace cnut and I love him for that. Glasner, our best manager, needs 2 grow up
@HLTCO The conquering Palace spirit requires great leadership. Glasner, an intelligent man, made a menopausal, unjustified and ill-considered outburst. It wasn't about passion for Palace, he was being a brat. He's lost respect. He goes
@SH20CPFC Don Rogers. Think standard, slightly mediocre, but First Division Palace '70s team. DR gets the ball and suddenly nearly 50,000 spectators realise that they're almost certainly about to watch a world class goal. An experience that lasts a lifetime.
Ebere Eze is a wonderfully talented footballer, the sort who gets you off your seat every week, he’s turned up BIG in key moments and won Palace a first piece of major silverware.
More importantly though, he’s an incredibly sound bloke at his core. ❤️
@WhyteleafeEagle And here’s an explanation of where it comes from and what it means that will keep you in dreamland for a little longer https://t.co/vMxlWNrBAV
Just under two weeks on, this still gives me goosebumps.
@bbcjohnmurray’s commentary, @morrisonclinton absolutely buzzing. The celebrations. Just incredible.
