Each day as your last....

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

What a wonderful day...
Taking my little girl to Wembley for the first time. Memories like these are FOREVER. Irrespective of the result. Sending LOVE to everyone associated with #AVFC #UTV

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Gomes was excellent, so was Jackson. Manzambi will be a serious player with a little time. We lack control though, wholesale changes require patience. Thoughts with Bellis today, watching Mings play instead of him #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

It's ok to be concerned. You can also feel and say what you want, Emery stunk the place out, that Tammy sub was baffling. Jackson had time to calm at HT. Emery will obvs continue to be god, two things can be true at same time tho, today was his worse in tenure imo #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Unai must of gone heavy on the sangria tonight and got Tammy mixed up with Madjo and Mings mixed up with THB. Bizarre decisions #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

All things considered not the end of the world, thought Jackson and Suzuki did fine. Get all the signings in asap. Hope Madjo isn't far away, different game with him coming on with 20 to go. Hope Tammy leaves tomoz #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Joel Ordonez felt like the kinda profile best suited to replacing Konsa. I mean we surely knew he was injured before negotiating. Villa have to be reactionary but going from him to the lad at West Ham is wild #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

@Alex_Berwick Works tirelessly, always hits his numbers. Hope he stays, but think it's unlikely atm. Generational money being offered to him. Big shoes to fill ...

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Thought Gomes was exceptional today. Really aggressive, drove forward and technically very good. Looking forward to him and Kamara complementing each other in that double pivot #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

@c4nn1ngz Have a nice evening 👍🏼

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

I was hopeful he'd be back and ready for Brighton, still might be the case, the fact 'long term' is mentioned is a concern though, especially selling Tielemans and Rogers adding Onana and maybe McGinn injured #AVFC

[Jacob Tanswell @J_Tanswell]

Johan Manzambi to miss Super Cup final as he continues to recover from knee injury. 20yo impressing #AVFC with attitude & approach to rehab - working with knee specialist Jurdan Mendiguchia in Spain. Villa will assess John McGinn after 31yo sustained injury today & hope for positive outcome.

@CBarker81 👍🏼

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

@CBarker81 It doesn't, my mistake. 'Rather than several months' would lean towards a long term injury imo 👍🏼

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Never forget his overhead kick at the North Stand #AVFC

[Aston Villa Statto @AVFCStatto]

Aston Villa randomly announced Danny Ings was an Aston Villa player #OnThisDay in 2021 🤯

#AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

@c4nn1ngz Correct Cannings, thanks for checking in, my mistake. 'Rather than several months' would lean towards long term 👍🏼

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Not a chance you would ever send a player with Madjos profile out on loan irrespective of age. Already a better option than Tammy. What a player to bring off the bench with 20 left #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

@TyBracey Hope not Ty. Selling Ollie would be one sale to many for me ...

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Leon Bailey - I'd take nowt and pay for his Uber. In all seriousness - £130k a week ? Unlikely he'll take a 50% pay cut and not a chance Villa will want to pay a severance #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Dickheads need to go for a walk or get themselves a hobby. Chatting rubbish about footballers being seriously injured #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Not fussed by a set piece coach leaving. Far to set in my ways for all this modern stuff. Give me Cowans near post corners any day. Off either foot. Godlike #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

This Ollie to Turkey with Jackson coming with Tammy potentially staying is wild. Get one more season out of Watkins and then decide. Rogers was a great deal but add Watkins in the same window and it becomes a step too far for me #AVFC

[Andrew Leighton @BuzzLeighton]

Excited by Gomes. Can play in tight areas and moves the ball well, plenty of dog in him and not scared of the ball. Surprised one of the 'revenue' clubs didn't take him for 35mil #AVFC
