@Bhau191919 Radha Soami got more Hindus as their followers actually.
Ironically, I know an Hindu uncle who started with Radha Soami, but then realised that the Golden Temple is the real deal, so he visits Darbar Sahib after every 2 weekends now
@IshuSaroya Akali Dal already caused severe harm to the reputation after Ram Rahim Pardon.
In an ideal world, any Jathedars who were involved in the decision-making towards providing Ram Rahim with a pardon, wouldn't be allowed entry into a Gurudwara ever again.
@rsrobin1 Akali Dal has been a lost cause for most of Punjab ever since the Beadbi's happened, along with Ram Rahim Pardon and Behbal Kalan firings.
There's very little that will change this, at least for the next 10 years.
@ipsinghTOI A key mistake here is that Haryana is majority Hindu, across all castes, despite the rivalry that exists across the Jat-Gujjar-Ahir-Punjabi political spectrum.
Punjab, on the other hand, has a lot of non-Jatt Sikhs, who are as sceptical of BJP as Jatts.
@samitakaur74 Would the Akal Takht back then also pardon Ram Rahim around the same time when Beadbi's take place in the region ?
While legitimacy and respect for Akal Takht shall always remain supreme, the Ram Rahim decision did cause a lot of harm in beliefs of a lot of Sikhs in the system
