@niccruzpatane@Tesla Forgive my subject ignorance but Is there a reason the other Tesla models are not listed anywhere on this graphic? Do they not qualify?
@darkvulpine There are zero cards on Pokémon Standard ban list. The format is much more balanced and has many more viable decks. It is also much more fun when you don't play against the same deck every round. Also, the risk isn't there when the decks cost $50 and nothing gets banned.
I'd start by unbanning:
Birthing Pod
Blazing Shoal (might be a mistake)
Deathrite Shamen
Field of the Dead
Glimpse of Nature
Mystic Sanctuary
Once Upon a Time
Punishing Fire
Umezawa's Jitte
I also think Sensei's Divining Top deserves some consideration to revive control.
I think #Wotc Mtg Modern needs to start by unbanning several cards before they consider banning Underworld Breach.
There are so many cards that have never seen the light of day in modern. They need to also consider the confirmation bias of the player hivemind and net decking.
The NFL needs to get these senior citizen blind refs off the field. It's also time to institute an automated delay of game penalty when the clock hits 0. Absurd!
@rk9labs @dannybarger11 @playpokemon The question I have is do the high profile players suffer the same difficulty in registering for these events that a relative newcomer experiences? From the outside looking in it would appear they can play any event they like without the same hurdles.

I'm new to the competitive Pokemon TCG scene coming from another game. It's unbelievable to me that the entries for regionals are sold out instantly and are almost unattainable without using a buying bot. The game cannot continue to grow without fixing this
@rk9labs@playpokemon I appreciate your replies. I have played competitive Mtg for decades. I'm aware that venue planning is difficult to manage but they have run events for years with no cap on attendance or at least a cap that is manageable for demand. Clearly demand isn't being met in this case.
@rk9labs@playpokemon This is a known issue that I was told has been a problem for quite some time. Perhaps as an experiment try running a regionals with no cap and rent the venue to suit demand instead of the reverse.
@rk9labs@playpokemon But selling out when I was literally waiting on the sign up page early? It was sold out by the time the page loaded at 7pm EST. That simply means you need a bigger venue and more entries allowed. @playpokemon@rk9labs
