WALK TO FREEDOM

I want to start this writing by apologizing to you on behalf of everyone who met you fragile and decided to leave you a little more broken than you already were.

Sit with yourself and walk out of your tunnel. Walk through the maze of hyper dependence on your friends before making life changing decisions, through the holes of putting your whole life on hold the moment you get into a relationship,

Let it give you the voice to speak against oppression in whatever form it comes and let it lead your heart to forgive when people act towards you like they are expecting doom to fall upon you. It won't. Your life will be beautiful, because God made it and saw that it was good.

I am familiar with a world where outspokenness is termed as rudeness, where your expressive nature is labeled as immature and your bubbling personality is tagged carnality. I am very familiar with that world.

With this knowledge, let confidence rise. Let it raise you from the hunch that being agreeable to something hurting you, has positioned you in.

So, when you sleep tonight and when you wake up by day, when you start to work and when you interact with people, have this at the back of your mind - GOD KNOWS ME AND GOD LOVES ME, EVEN IF SOME HAVE A HARD TIME ACCEPTING THAT HE DOES.

God made you with the personality you have, all the care in your heart, the love you have to offer and the passion with which you treat your work and relationships, AND HE WOULDN'T HAVE YOU ANY OTHER WAY.
