@jeremyct Got out of the Marine Corps in '91, and remember feeling lucky because I landed a job paying $6.50/hr. After taxes, I was bringing home about $900/mo...and my 1/2 of the rent was $400. Didn't leave much wiggle room. That same apartment today is $3000/mo.

@KTLA So…if your kid wants to attend a field trip, they must get parental consent. Sign off on liability, etc. Yet, if your 9 year old decides they’re now a they/them or whatever…they are perfectly capable of making a decision solely on their own.

@SGVNSports I know a former SGV coach who spent (17) years at two different schools, (14) as a head coach. Made postseason 10x & got fired from last school over the phone (literally) after winning league 2x in 3 years…AD simply told him “I don’t think you’re the right person for the job”.
