I appreciate all the kind words on the latest video!
It's funny, as I've gotten older I've found it a bit harder to open up on camera like I used to. I think with age, you start to take yourself more seriously perhaps. But I've always thought the coolest thing about Youtube you can just be yourself, and connect with folks in a way that wasn't possible back in the days of TV.
It was refreshing to do that again.
The internet/Youtube/everything is changing at an unprecedented rate - apparently 20% of Youtube shorts are already AI videos (absolutely insane) and soon they'll come for us all perhaps.
But I still love what I do and I've been re-discovering why more recently. Making videos, experimenting with cameras, sharing this whole journey is what I live for.
And in the last few weeks of relentlessly travelling on the road filming, I'm pleased to say we have so many great videos up ahead! (Particularly a special project with Natsuki to be announced shortly).
For now though, in case you missed it, check out the latest video on Abroad in Japan where I go a bit crazy in a hotel room for 7 days.
And above all, as always, a huge thanks for watching!
Uploaded a new video on the main channel!
Got to show off the amazing team at @Shapefarm here in Tokyo and try my hand at becoming a game director for the day!
That’s a wrap for Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest!
Thank you to all the staff, service workers, organizers and of COURSE to all the awesome WoL who pulled through and kept me company!
FFXIV is in great hands and this con reminded me how much I love this game!
How to raise $1.4 million in 15 days
Massive shoutout to @CDawgVA and team for finishing a record breaking Cyclethon 5. They biked across Japan for more than 1,200 KM and raised over $1.4 million for Immune Deficiency research!
Now that cyclethon 5 is over it's quite difficult to put into words how amazing of an experience it was.
We managed to raise $1,475,000 dollars for an amazing cause. The @immunedeficienC foundation.
It's a pleasure year after year getting this crew together to raise money for them.
We battled hills, rain, wind, sand, hail all to put on a show for you and I'm so lucky to have friends that make this journey what is it. Chris is not only the most British man of all time, but an amazing friend who always is up for the challenge and even on the most challenging of days will come out with a one liner that suddenly has everyone rolling.
Mouse always brings the cheerleader energy we need and gives all of us motivation to keep peddling, mouse shows us that through determination and perseverance anything can be done and we're lucky to always have her rooting for us.
Pete despite being the loudest human of all time, has an unmatched energy and positivity that we all strive for. Without him the highest of heights can't be reached. And I wish to one day be able to tap into an ounce of his pure charisma.
And of course the crew behind all of the Ian, Paul, Nabi and the mods work tirelessly to make sure we can give you the best show and without them it would be messy.
I'm not really sure why I made this post. Just wanted to make sure these people who worked really hard and allowed us to raise this money for charity got their credit. I'm lucky to call all of these people friends.
Thank you for your support, the viewers who turned up everyday to throw money and eagerly comment made an atmosphere that was infectious. Without you guys we wouldn't do this. So truly from the bottom of my heart thank you for an amazing event and I hope to bring you many more in future.
See you next time. 🫡
This is truly insane!! @CDawgVA there are no words to express how grateful we are, and how many lives you're impacting. You, @ironmouse, and the entire streaming community have done SO much people with PI. The ripple effect of this fundraiser will be felt for a long, long time.
From the start till the end,
Truly honored to be able to work with this incredible team of amazing people again this year
And we cannot forget the amazing support from all of you who donated to this great cause
A truly collective effort of good willed individuals can change the lives of others and hopefully the world 🌎
Truly, thank you 🙏

DONATE PLASMA
15 days, 1,200km cycled and $1.4 Million RAISED for the Immune Deficiency Foundation! ✨A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who tuned in and supported our monstrous journey from snowy Aomori to the chaotic streets of Osaka.
This was the 5th Cyclethon and undoubtedly the most challenging. The first few days were painfully tough battling Siberian gales on the northeast coast, being relentlessly pelted with hail and endless rain. By Day Three honestly I started to think I wouldn’t make it to the finish line.
But by week two, contempt at choosing the Sea of Japan coastal route soon gave way to spectacular weather, serene fishing villages and stunning mountain passes. The winds turned in our favour and the concept of hope returned once again.
We were joined by amazing guests from start to finish, thanks to Ironmouse, Schlatt, Garnt, Rob and Felix for keeping our spirits up along the way. And of course to the incredible van gang of Ian, Paul, Nabi and Ryo for their support everyday of the trip.
Pete as always was the ultimate hype man, and of course, a huge well done to Connor for once again making this event happen and for firing up so many people around the world to get involved!
It’s been an absolute honor and privilege as always to be a part of the greatest community on Earth.
Thank you so much guys 🍻 Please pray for my legs.
