Yesterday, Firefighters Handorff, Murano, and Young spent the day at George H. Mitchell Elementary School’s Field Day!
Before the water games got underway, our firefighters provided a fire safety presentation for all students, sharing important tips to help keep everyone safe.
Today, members of the Bridgewater Fire Department traveled to Boston to pay their respects and honor Boston Firefighter Robert Kilduff Jr., who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends & the Boston Fire Department.
We recently welcomed a local homeschool group to our station for a tour and fire safety presentation. Firefighter Gunnarson and Firefighter Handorff showed the group around the station, talked about fire safety, and answered lots of great questions.

Last week, we were happy to welcome a group from @ArcGreaterBrock for a station tour!
Firefighters Forant & Lieb gave the group a tour of the station, showed them one of our ambulances & an engine, & helped everyone see what a firefighter looks like in full protective gear.
This week, the Bridgewater Fire Department proudly recognizes and thanks our Firefighters who also serve as EMTs and Paramedics. These dedicated professionals provide compassionate, lifesaving care to our community every day — often during someone’s most difficult moments.
Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday to support the Bridgewater Police & Fire Charity Classic! We had a great turnout and it was truly a fantastic community event.
We received notification from Governor Healey & the Fire Marshal that we were awarded the FY26 SAFE & Senior SAFE Grant! We have been awarded $7,069.56 for SAFE & $3,004.56 Senior SAFE. The funds will be used for community risk reduction efforts in our schools & to our seniors.

We are excited to announce the 1st Annual Bridgewater Police & Fire Charity Classic! We invite the entire community to come out and support this great event. There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted at the game to support the July 4th celebrations in Bridgewater.

Engine 3 & Car 2 responded to the Town of Raynham for Mutual Aid this afternoon. Group 3 was on duty and responded to the scene of a working fire. This required off duty personnel to get called in.
Lt Thomas Luckman III, FF Ryan Forant & FF Cori Handorff participated in the Career Fair held at Mass Maritime. We were able to provide college students with information on how to become a Firefighter. Thank you to Mass Maritime for including us!
