Three #Bwgcolman teens, I call this one, 'three little brothers' just chilling, sitting on the stone jetty, yarning & laughter. It's so lovely to see this. They're the community's treasure, we want their future to be rich w/ possibilities they can attain.
My childhood play ground.. these steps go into the water . I gathered cockles, chased soldier crabs, built sand castles, nearly drowned and a young teenager saved my life in the 60s .. so many heart felt memories at this one spot.
This memorial is to 7 leaders 1957 Strike Palm Is for better conditions for families. We were under Govt control at that time. The 7 men & family were removed by police at gunpoint. This memorial overlooks the beach where they were sent into exile 13 June '57
