A consequential day for Kenya as President William Ruto signs the Sovereign Wealth Fund Bill into law.

First came macroeconomic stability, restoring confidence and laying the foundations for sustained and inclusive growth. Then came the National Infrastructure Fund, transforming how Kenya finances long-term development.

Today, the next chapter.

The Sovereign Wealth Fund will ensure that the wealth from Kenya’s natural resources, including petroleum and minerals, is preserved, invested and multiplied for generations. It will strengthen economic resilience, finance strategic investments and, through the Urithi Fund, create a lasting national inheritance.

Nothing is accidental. Each reform has made the next possible. That is strategic leadership; a deliberate sequence of reforms driven by sound planning, long-term vision and the deliberate transformation of our Republic.
