We always have a tough game with Woodys & Ebogs today was no different. After back to back defeats getting our 1st 3 points on the board was a good feeling. #WeMove#Knights#Borehamwood
Remembering during Covid what coaches had to do to allow kids to play.
Small groups of 4
Sanitise balls,posts every 15 mins
Non contact
2mtr distance
Clean hands
Water breaks
Madness fair play to all the coaches that went above and beyond for the good of the game.
Definitely Referees need to be allowed to have Cameras on them while playing. Refs are as young as 15 and shouldn’t face the abuse from Adults no matter what. The reason it hasn’t happened is because it would highlight how bad the problem is. #grassrootsfootball
Concussion 🤕 Protocol. It’s important to protect the boys & girls you coach from anything more serious occurring. It’s always good to update yourself with what’s required. #KnowledgeIsPower
Disgusting behaviour. We have Seen on 1st hand Coaches/Parents verbally abusing kid officials at games. No place for it at any level of the game. Report them remove them.
A man (24) has been arrested on suspicion of the serious assault of referee Dave Bradshaw during a match between Platt Bridge and Wigan Rose on Sunday.
Mr Bradshaw is reported to have suffered fractured ribs, a broken nose and concussion. Read more here:https://t.co/K2OkiSyQGU
Session tonight was about creating angles and keeping it simple. Get the basics right 1st then we can add the flicks and tricks at the right times. Developing a press from the strikers is key to what we do, A good hard working session completed. Well Done team.
