@Texas_Shanesaw_@howertonjosh No. His name Petros was given by Jesus not chosen by Matthew. So he did not use the masculine form he used the name given and could have easily used said word for both. The fact that you mentioned Peters name doesn't mean foundation itself invalidates your entire argument.
@Texas_Shanesaw_@howertonjosh Exactly as you said he used petra for the usage of rock. If they meant to they could have used petros also to insinuate your incorrect belief. You proved nothing but your own assumptions
@Texas_Shanesaw_@howertonjosh Prove that Matthew was avoiding a grammatical error.
The English Bible you use also uses 2 different words. It has been studied for over a thousand years. If your incorrect assumption was correct it would read "and on Peter I would build..."
@Texas_Shanesaw_@howertonjosh No, the rock is the statement of faith Peter gave prior. Petros and Petra would be written as the same word if Jesus was talking about Peter being the rock
@thetripathi58 Much easier to just answer and make fun of or insult the (likely Indian) scammers. They will know they can't swindle you and will stop calling. Time is money for them, they'd rather try to trick someone else.
