Unfortunately, Web3 is just a technology you can add to a great product.
The space is full of risk-takers because the entire Web3 story was built on risk from the very beginning. But trying to build the product on top of Web3 as the foundation is a long-term mistake.
I’ve been with you almost the entire two-year journey — testing all your products and watching the team. A lot of people can learn important lessons from your example.
If you enter Web3 as a gaming project and quickly throw together a game that mainly attracts degens looking to make money, then the best move is to go all-in, push hard to TGE, take your profit, and gracefully fade out.
Because from both a technical and gameplay perspective, these kinds of projects simply can’t compete with the games that already exist. Blockchain technology alone won’t keep players around once there’s no more money to earn. They weren’t there for the game itself — and in the real world, there are far more fun and polished titles available.
A truly successful model for Web3 games doesn’t seem to exist yet. We’re still waiting for a major global player to come in and show how it can actually work.
Thank you for the journey — and for making space for me along the way! 🤜🤛
We found this project when it had only 18 followers. In the past 24 hours, the follower count has grown almost 30x. Can we call this an alpha call?
