I'm proud to be the first and only sitting U.S. Senator to take the Political Integrity Pledge.
No corporate PAC money.
No stock trading for members of Congress.
Overturn Citizens United.
We need to get big money out of politics and end the corruption now.
From Maine to Minnesota to Michigan, progressives are standing up and challenging the status quo. Americans are ready to back them. It’s time for more than just a Democratic majority—we need a progressive majority for the future.
WHY ARE THE BILLIONAIRES SO PANICKED BY ABDUL EL-SAYED?
The Democratic Senate primary in Michigan is much more than a campaign between Congresswoman Haley Stevens and Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. It is part of the ongoing struggle between Oligarchy and grassroots progressive politics. It is about whether we can create a government that represents ALL Americans, or one that continues to be controlled by wealthy campaign contributors.
As of today, billionaire-funded outside groups, led by AIPAC, have spent a record-breaking $50 million to support Haley Stevens — a roughly 60-to-1 advantage over Abdul El-Sayed. Let me repeat. A 60-to-1 advantage. Despite that, recent polling indicates that the race is extremely close — with some polls showing Abdul in the lead.
Why are the billionaires so panicked by Abdul El-Sayed and his campaign? Why are they desperate to see him defeated? The answer is not complicated. A win by Abdul, following recent progressive victories across the country, will make it clearer than ever that the American people are sick and tired of the same-old, same-old Establishment politics and policies. They want change, real change. They want a Democratic Party which stands for the working class, not the billionaire class. They want the policies that Abdul is campaigning on, which include:
— Health care for All as a human right.
— Strong support for unions, raising the minimum wage to a living wage and building millions of units of affordable housing.
— Increased taxes on the billionaire class.
— An end to “endless wars” and not another nickel for the extremist Netanyahu government in Israel.
— Real campaign finance reform which gets big money and super PACs out of politics.
Senator @EdMarkey has dedicated his life to making government work for the people of Massachusetts. He’s led on bringing climate justice to the forefront of our politics while rejecting money from corporations who want to stop him. I am humbled and deeply grateful for Sen. Markey’s endorsement.
Abdul El-Sayed is the bold progressive leader that Michigan needs in the Senate. He's fighting for Medicare for All, standing up to corporate interests and fearlessly advocating for working families. I'm proud to endorse him.
So @EdMarkey got MORE progressive over time? More than we can say for you @sethmoulton since you regressed on LGBTQ+ support throwing trans folks under the MAGA bus.
Ed Markey has endorsed Abdul El-Sayed in #MISen — joining fellow Massachusetts Democrat Elizabeth Warren (and Bernie Sanders, AOC, et al.)

Voters shouldn’t have to wonder if the President will send federal enforcement agents to their polling place. Trump’s attempts to intimidate voters and intrude on elections are unprecedented and must be stopped. Our rights aren’t up for debate.
Thank you, Congressman Moulton. I agree. "The call for a new generation of leadership in America is not a fight about the age of our leaders, but what vision those leaders have for our future."
