THE SPACES WE KEEP rockstar x emotionally unavailable girl
“Every time she leaves, she takes another part of me. And I let her, because I’d rather be in pieces than be without her.”
🖤 love that tastes like self-destruction 🔥 a fire that doesn’t warm you, it ruins you
@evyharl Oh God don’t!!! Same thing happened to me e, took me 7-8 tries to get my first chapter right. Don’t lose hope, you’ll end up nailing it. No need to scrap all of your hard work 🥺❤️
@luke_tarzian If I get one more DM asking how many books I’ve published, I’ll start answering with “seven bestsellers, four movie deals, and a Netflix series pending”
Let me work on my first WIP in peace
As a woman writing an almost all-guys cast, my biggest challenge is mastering authentic bromance dialogue. How many times can I type bro, dude, and mate before people notice that I’m winging it?? 😂 #WritersLife#WritingCommunity#AmWriting#Bromance
@piperstaggart This is absolutely insane. I can’t wrap my head around this!! This is a like a full-on psychological thriller and we’re all very unwilling characters…
@chxryoung SAME!! I go from writing emotional, layered prose to sounding like I’ve never read a book in my life
“Uhh… it’s like… sad? But also romance? Kinda?” Total identity crisis every time 😂
@DKemeridou Anyone judging that man clearly hasn’t experienced the joy of a partner who says “bookshop” like it’s a love language. Hold onto that one tight 🤣
“You left your mark, a violent hue,
But I’ve built something stronger than you.
Every scream, every scar, every shattered bone,
I’ve turned to steel, and I stand alone.”

Do you ever wonder why characters hijack your heart at 2am? The Spaces We Keep is my decade-long love letter to the chaos of creation. Rockstar romance, witty banter, and tears included. What story keeps YOU up at night? #WritersLife#RomanceReaders
@Stockpithecus @akatepockett True and I totally agree with you. Romance is just not a genre that attracts men and that’s fair. But whether it’s books or movies, if the female is the main character, no matter what the genre is, most men will unfortunately be a lot less likely to be interested in them.
Hey! I write in my MMC’s POV too. My biggest tip is don’t focus on “sounding like a guy,” focus on how he sees the world. What he notices, what he avoids, what he won’t say out loud. His voice lives in his perspective, not just his words. Feel free to DM me if you need someone to talk to and bounce ideas with :)
