NEW BILLS TABLED:

To address this growing concern, the Companies Amendment Bill and the Companies Second Amendment Bill have been introduced, aiming to promote greater transparency and accountability in corporate pay practices.

If passed, these groundbreaking bills would mandate companies to disclose their pay gap ratios, providing clear insights into the compensation discrepancies between executives and the broader workforce.

In addition, companies would be required to list the remuneration and total benefits received by both the highest-earning and lowest-earning employees, shedding light on the full extent of the pay gap.
