A 5-foot-4 high school sophomore. Injuries throughout his college career. Still a top-10 draft pick with the #Saints.
“I wasn’t supposed to be here,” Jordyn Tyson said.
Here is how he made it.

New #Saints LG David Edwards has played with two MVP QBs in his career -- Josh Allen & Matthew Stafford.
He has high praise for his new QB, Tyler Shough.
Some quick practice thoughts:
- Alvin Kamara was indeed back and worked into some individual stuff, but didn’t take any 7-on-7 reps.
- Tyler Shough with a pair of back-to-back great throws that captured his aggressiveness on third down. Throws were to Polk and Austin.
- Zach Wilson maybe had the throw of the day with a bomb to Bryce Lance, who beat his man with a double move.
- Chris Olave and Chase Young were notable absences.
Falcons are signing WR Drake London to a four-year, $141 million extension worth up to $150 million, including $100 million guaranteed, per his agent Andrew Kessler. It makes London the third highest paid receiver in the league with the highest average per year in Falcons franchise history.
The #Falcons and star WR Drake London have agreed to terms on a massive new contract extension, as he gets a four-year deal, sources say.
Atlanta’s former first-rounder has been a priority and now paid in a deal done by Andrew Kessler of @AthletesFirst.
Larry Fitzgerald shows love to the city of New Orleans ❤️
“I absolutely love New Orleans. I don’t even think I told you this, but my family is from, not New Orleans, but the West Bank… I don’t know if you’ll find a place as culturally rich as New Orleans.”
A couple of preseason items:
1. The Saints will report to training camp on Tuesday, July 28 & hold their first practice on Wednesday, July 29.
2. The Saints will only conduct one day each of joint workouts against the Cowboys & Rams before their Aug. 22 preseason game vs. Rams.
Mickey Loomis remains non-committal publicly on Alvin Kamara. “We’re just trying to see how he’s gonna fit on our roster. Obviously there’s a resource management element. We’ll get to that over the next week or two.”
Mickey Loomis said the Saints have a contract offer out to Cam Jordan — something I’m assuming has been true for a while.
The same is not true for Taysom Hill.
Why did the NFL schedule Saints-Falcons for 10 days after the 20th anniversary of the team's first game back in the Dome instead of in Week 3, when it would have been only three days after?
A league executive explained why Friday:

The thing that stands out the most to me about the schedule: Four of their final five games come against NFC South opponents, and three of those are on the road. That stretch may decide whether the Saints end their playoff drought.
The Saints schedule is here. Two tough opponents out of the gate, an important NFC South stretch late and a Rebirth anniversary game https://t.co/NL4Qa9czYL
