liberals caring about at will employment for the first time but they won't call for a workers bill of rights or something that protects people from unfair firing on no just an edit undo and back to brunch please
Let's be clear what just happened IN AMERICA:
A comedian said something of which the President disapproved.
In retaliation, the Administration threatened regulatory action against the comedian's TV network.
To avoid retribution, the media company canceled the comedian's show.
Jimmy Kimmel basically just lost his job for saying Charlie Kirk’s killer was MAGA.
Just a few days ago, here’s Brian Kilmeade of Fox News saying homeless people should be killed:
He still has his job:
One of my favorite captures since I got into this hobby: the aftermath of an X class flare on the sun. These loops trace the invisible magnetic field lines on the sun, while moon-sized gobs of plasma rain back down onto the surface.
A nazi gets shot and it's world news and people are crying about it but a black 21 year old is found hanging from a tree with broken limbs and all they get is a half arsed investigation and silence nothing has changed at all
Breaking: FCC Chair Brendan Carr Enforces His Own Project 2025 Censorship Blueprint
Brendan Carr, who literally authored the FCC chapter of Project 2025, is now carrying it out as FCC Chair.
* Project 2025 plan: Defund NPR/PBS, strip protections, pressure broadcasters, reinterpret Section 230 to let the FCC judge content decisions.
* Current moves: Carr has already launched NPR/PBS investigations, reopened CBS oversight tied to license renewals, accused Big Tech of running a “censorship cartel,” and pressured ABC after Jimmy Kimmel’s Kirk monologue.
* The contradiction: Carr’s blueprint claimed to defend “free speech,” but Brookings calls it “heavy-handed regulation dressed as deregulation” .
This isn’t coincidence. The FCC chair is enforcing his own censorship plan, written into Project 2025—and it’s happening right now.
This is the biggest attack on free speech since the McCarthy era but it also has significantly less popular consensus behind it than the second Red Scare. It's being done on behalf of a minority faction led by the most unpopular president in modern history. Organizing against this can win.
