Achieving this in my 50s is one of my proudest achievements, to date. It shows we #Babyboomers are adaptable and can thrive in this #digitalage. #techsavvy
Now, as I’m approaching 61, I’m smiling at the woman I’m becoming in this season of my life. Every day brings new opportunities for growth and learning. #thisis60#GrowthMindset
The path wasn’t easy. There were countless trials, errors and many moments of frustration, (even pulling my locs!). But I persevered and finally, I made it. #Perseverance
The event opened my eyes to the wonders of tech. It was one of the markers to dive into my self-taught, community supported journey to becoming a #SoftwareEngineer. #nevertoolate

Happy Weekend - I’m sharing one of my #reinvention journeys, that led to me retraining as a #SoftwareEngineer, as a #Babyboomer. It started in June 2017, just before my 54th birthday 🎉
Walking Is Where It’s At!
I’m 60 and I‘ve maintained an exercise / movement routine for 55 years. From my first egg & spoon race to now, one exercise stands out - walking. It’s low impact, accessible and very beneficial. Let me share why you should make walking a daily habit.
Walking improves balance and coordination, reducing the risk of falls as we age. It’s a simple way to stay agile and independent for longer. Just put one foot in front of the other and keep moving!
