In an epic section final game, Nate Khaldarov doubled home Ben Kent in the bottom of the 16th inning to give the Bobcats their first section title since 2015. Ben Kent was on base six times with 3 hits and 3 walks. Logan Verma earned the win with an astounding 8 1/3 scoreless innings of relief. Next up, a regional game next Saturday! Josh Goldman earned his school record-tying eighth win of the season by throwing a masterful 66 pitch shutout, allowing 4 hits and no walks. Simon Jacobs and Chase Rodriguez each had run scoring doubles for the Bobcats. The Byram defense was solid all day, committing no errors. Next game is Tuesday at home against Pleasantville.

The Bobcats rallied for 4 runs after having two out and no one on, and trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the seventh to win 5-4. Logan Verma picked up the win in relief. Blaise Ascanio returned from injury to get the game winning RBI. Ascanio and Chase Rodriguez each had two hits. Josh Goldman and Verma combined to walk none over 7 innings. Logan Verma broke the school record for doubles in a season with his twelfth, and also singled. Zach Cohen added two hits, while Spencer Feldman doubled and knocked in two runs. Ben Kent struck out 7 in five innings to earn the win. Tyler Anchin worked two effective innings to close the game, striking out 3. Bobcats finish the regular season at 15-5. Chase Rodriguez hit a walk off, two-run homerun in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the bobcats the win on senior day. Logan Verma continued his torrid season with three more hits. Josh Goldman struck out 12 batters over eight innings, not allowing an earned run or a walk. Verma pitched the last two innings in dominant fashion to earn the win. Tyler Anchin earned the win, pitching five innings and allowing just one run. Logan Verma tossed two shutout innings to earn the save. Chase Rodriguez blasted a bases loaded, bases clearing double in the first inning to provide all the offense the Bobcats would need. The win clinches a league championship for Byram Hills. Josh Goldman improved to 7-0 throwing six innings, allowing one run with six strikeouts and no walks. Ben Kent and Zach Cohen each had three hits for the Bobcats. Logan Verma doubled and Homered to knock in three runs, Ben Kent added three hits, Chase Rodriguez had three RBI, and Niko Severino chipped in with two hits.
