O Holy Night.
Based on a French poem by Placide Cappeau, the song tells the story of the first Christmas Eve. It was first performed in a village in rural France in 1847 and is now sung on Christmas Eve all over the world.
Happy Christmas from the west of Ireland🎄

“It takes a lot of courage to expose parts of our identity. But it is often the parts of our stories that are hardest to share that make us who we are; they are what makes us real.” ~ @TaraMartinEDU#REALedu

Prélude, Suite No. 1 for Solo Cello by J.S. Bach, #songsofcomfort
Today is Holocaust Memorial Day.
In 1938, Sir Nicholas Winton brought Jewish children from German-occupied Czechoslovakia to safety in the UK.
Fifty years later, That’s Life reunited him with some of those children.
Remember for this New Year 2022
“Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things
Whoever has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.”
-- St. Teresa of Avila
