They both straddle the fence on the issue, playing political dodgeball as the issue threatens to take direct aim at them this year. Both Trump and Lake’s only principle is to say whatever they need to say for their own political gain, even if it means waging a war on women and their ability to make choices about their own health.

2. The juxtaposition is clear: One side is President Biden’s effective economic and foreign policy leadership versus Trump and his MAGA GOP’s inability to govern and embrace of constant chaos. House Republicans are once again fighting over the Speakership and refusing to give Ukraine the resources it needs to defend itself. Meanwhile, when Trump isn’t asleep at his own criminal trial for hiding pay-offs to a porn star he’s on a press tour in NYC bodegas. President Biden is working hard, overseeing an economy that is growing twice as fast as any other country on the planet.
