@JulianVentures@kmcnam1 You’ve just described every generation of youth from the beginning of time.
It’s what humans do and part of the reason why some joints may be wonky later on
@GigachadMdub@kmcnam1 “Disease or chronic illness”
If you burned through the cartilage in your knees in your 20s and experience knee pain in your 30s as a result, that qualifies as “chronic” king.
@sarobertson_ Honest critique of your country is always fair.
Lying about the state of your country to score points with people who hate the country should probably end anyone’s political career.
@MJD120741@Acyn How long will Americans allow themselves to be led around by their noses by opportunistic liars in either party in service to the wealthiest fraction before u stop with the whataboutism?
Both parties are garbage and have put garbsge people in front of you.
Start there.
@CanaDog@Elect_Elliott@avilewis@NSNDP One truth is that the Canadian government does save money from assisted dying.
Which is another reason Canadians should be against privatization.
Because if you can’t afford to pay for the treatment being offered, as in the US, you’ll still likely die, and they won’t care.
@CanaDog@Elect_Elliott@avilewis@NSNDP So you’ll pay more for better care under the U.S. system. And if you’re bankrupt or near bankruptcy, the odds are its because of medical debt.
And if you can’t afford to pay the top rated cancer clinic, you aren’t likely to be part of that “higher survival rate” cohort.
@CanaDog@Elect_Elliott@avilewis@NSNDP Life expectancy in the U.S. is 79.
Life expectancy in Canada is 83.
That higher cancer survival rate is applied to higher income Americans, or Americans who can pay for private top tier cancer care.
Research where middle and lower income Americans fall in that projection.
