@AlisGoodTweets Why would it need it too be “a console seller” …
Forza Horizon 6 just sold 6.4 million copies on Xbox (2.1 million) and Pc (2.8 million) making it the second most successful game this year with RE Requiem just outselling it with 7 million copies sold on all platforms 👍🏼
@VianaYolanda1@nickelmon11 Ahhhh so you virulently complained about Sony pulling there games from PC right !!??
Or is this all just hypocritical bollocks most PlayStation fan boys spout when they don’t get their way and get all emotional 🤣😭
I finished 007 first light.
I’ve only ever seen Casino Royale and played Goldeneye. I had little interest in First Light. I’ve never played Hitman. I’ve never enjoyed Uncharted. I am by all accounts a “tourist.” Despite almost everything working against me IO Interactive delivered what is quite possibly my game of the year.
The biggest initial surprise was just how suave and confident this young James Bond is. I’ve experienced enough media to know that there was a solid chance this origin story would have been told through the classic trope of “fumbling quippy idiot” which would have really turned me away, but alas this is the Bond that’s cool and confident. I loved Patrick Gibson’s performance. In fact, I loved all the characters from Moneypenny to Monroe, Cressida and especially Greenway. The chemistry and dynamic between all of these characters works as flawlessly as you’d hope. What a great cast.
Gameplay was the perfect mix of widespread accessibility with enough room for seasoned players to impress. I loved that shooting your weapon wasn’t allowed until you had a license to kill and that your gadgets felt seamless and easy to use. Systems could have been easily complicated, but IO found a way to make being James Bond as comfortable as slipping on a pair of shoes. I especially want to highlight the melee combat that while not as perfect as Arkham style games comes remarkably close as far as fun factor goes. It’s the highlight here.
Sitting at around 13-15 hours the campaign is just the right length. The story is engaging from the moment you start until the credits roll. There’s always a purpose to what you’re doing and nothing feels like filler. This is the quintessential James Bond experience from top to bottom. A vast array of locations, gadgets, enemies, women and outfits make sure things never get stale.
My criticisms are few and quite honestly fall by the wayside when the entirety of the experience is considered as one whole. Driving segments are glorified on rail set pieces, loading times are bad by modern standards and my game crashed a few times on PS5 Pro. Ultimately it was nothing that brought the quality of the game down, just noticeable blemishes on what is likely a near perfect James Bond simulator.
I’m officially a new fan of 007. It’s time to watch more of the films, check out some old games and keep a keen eye on what IO Interactive does next. They’ve created an incredible experience. First Light is a must play.
@BaldDavid_@NextGenPlayer PlayStation fucktards being the most obnoxious cunts on the planet whilst having no good exclusives too play is the funniest shit ever … I swear all you mfs do is bang on about Xbox players were truly living rent free in your head 🤣
@lettpoupette@neptunewavey I mean other then the entire cast saying she was extremely difficult to work with and the fact she demanded more then anyone when her character is subpar compared too William H. Macy INCREDIBLE portrayal of Frank … 👍🏼
When I am wearing an Iron Maiden t-shirt, people ask me to name 3 songs, but when I have Architects merch on, no one asks me to name a 3 buildings. Why is that?
