I live near a four way light, but one of the roads is offset. Sure enough, a drunk continued straight through and took out a telephone pole where the road was supposed to be. Hood of the minivan hugged the pole, it was sheared off but didn't fall. Cops found the hiding in someone's bushes a couple of blocks away. You can't drive away after rapid engine removal, apparently.
