These are my first week stats ๐
$META is scaling back parts of its employee tracking tool after staff backlash.
The tool collects computer usage data to train AI models on workplace tasks but Meta is adding privacy protections, exemptions and a pause option
Why is everyone suddenly glazing GPT 5.5 and trashing Claude Code?
Iโve been using both Opus 4.8 + GPT 5.5 (and even 4.7) daily. 5.5 is genuinely strong at a lot of things, but when it comes to deep planning and frontend/design work, itโs still nowhere close. Even with great skills, the outputs are often laughably bad.
Is this organic or is OpenAI pushing the narrative hard?
๐จ: The most underrated AI trend right now isn't bigger models.
It's that tiny teams are starting to operate like companies 10x their size.
A 5-person team can now handle:
โข Sales demos
โข Customer support
โข Marketing assets
โข Product workflows
โข Engineering tasks
all with AI woven into the process.
The interesting question isn't "Will AI replace developers?"
It's:
How many people will the next $100M software company need?
10? 20? Less?
Curious what number you'd bet on.
My prediction: the first billion-dollar company with fewer than 20 employees is closer than most people think. ๐
