@ClinPsychDavid@drdebbieford@drilanbz@UK_ACP I'm a @BPSOfficial member, looking forward to hearing how we can all help. Are key workers, such as shop workers, delivery people, cleaners etc. being considered for psychological in this framework?
So you're going crazy under lockdown?
I know the feeling. I've been in Beijing for the last two months. My housemate is away and I'm thousands of miles from my family.
I have some thoughts on how to make lockdown better. These won't apply to everyone, but they ring true for me:
When you’re kind to someone, it’s not just that person who benefits.
And it’s contagious – any act of kindness you perform has a ripple effect that reaches over 100 more people.

Clear message here.
If it helps people worry less.

Hi everyone
Just want to say – I’ve seen quite a few people with Covid 19 since Sunday.
Neither tribalism nor cooperation can easily arise on their own. But tribalism & cooperation can emerge if they appear together.
In fact, in order to be cooperative, humans had to be able to make distinctions between us & them. (ht @NAChristakis) https://t.co/TWjxCRosFc
Everyone wants to be brave.
Very few of us want to feel vulnerable.
There is no courage without uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure. Brave is vulnerable.
Embrace the suck.
Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up & be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage, @BreneBrown Brené Brown

This sadly resonates with many of the people I work with. Long-term collaboration is required for all involved in providing support, esp. w/ those accessing it
