Speaking of Historical Fiction, my Father John Simmons met my Mother Iris Blankley while he was a Paratrooper Stationed in Bullwell. He jumped behind the lines in Normandy and was wounded. After the War, he married Iris and brought her to bloody hot South Florida.

@AnnieSummerlee I have spent almost as much time trying to perfect the perfect one page query letter as I have in writing my Historical Fiction Novel, Miyoko's Will. That all important, one page query is daunting. But I won't give up. Nor should you!!!! Believe in yourself and keep trying!

Writing is a lonely occupation. Pouring my heart and soul out onto an empty canvas, when there is no guarantee anyone will ever read my words. Time to contact my therapist again. At least she is getting paid!
