The Scandinavian spring #malting barley suffers badly from rain deficits, with no relief in sight. As a result, the price premiums for malting barley are rising significantly across Europe. Good malting #barley harvests in exporting countries like France and the UK are needed to meet the needs of maltsters and #brewers, but this is not yet certain.
