@pansycacke07@IEmperor26 Why is he in the Milky Way if he left after firing the array? How did the Librarian imprison him if she was dead by the end of the terminals?
You could argue “you don’t need to know” that, but the character is absolutely incomprehensible without the knowledge he’s someone else.
@pansycacke07@IEmperor26 One major caveat to this (and I say this from personal experience) is the identity of the Didact. Having read the Halo 3 terminals and *not* Halo Cryptum, I had no way of knowing that Halo 4’s Didact is supposed to be a totally different character than the one in the terminals.
@IEmperor26@pansycacke07 First Strike covers the survival of Sgt. Johnson and introduces Tartarus, the Prophet of Truth and High Charity. We also, ironically, get more of Kelly in this book than we did in 343i’s media leading up to Halo 5.
@IshtoSukul@pansycacke07 >Bungie didn't consider any of the books except maybe 1 or 2 of them to be Canon.
This is horrifically untrue and I find it disturbing that this sentiment even exists. Halo 2 still reigns supreme in its quantity of EU inclusions.
Bungie released more games than Reach.
