We are finally getting C5 tractor ignitions out the door (Oliver 6 cyl shown). Parts are arriving and we've been swamped with orders this year so thank you!

This "test" intake design requires several unique parts to be precisely cut. I couldn't find a tool so I made my own that clamps to my drill press.
Since the donut requires several precise cuts I'll make hold... https://t.co/D4rxt01uyD
These never seem to work, but lets try a video link. C5 ignition and our new intake/exhaust system. Mike Rooker's first pull with a new toy (tuned by Tom Isenhart).

I finally cut open one of the donuts we ordered ... wow! They are thick. The ones from Low Brow and eBay were so thin and oval if I attempted to press them round they'd peel open like an egg shell.
I had to buy... https://t.co/VJsdITNI7L
Yesterday we finally received a large shipment of parts. For those who have been waiting for ignitions, we are working hard to fill orders.
I hope to be mostly caught up by Monday!
I ran into a snag building header dies. The Farmall 301 outer ports are square (see photo) but the inner ports are siamesed and very wide. I fear the primary pipe will be excessively thin or tear.
My solution... https://t.co/xJBCl5O9Te
My donuts arrived. Can't wait to cut one open... they feel much thicker than what I bought from Low Brow.
They are 1.75" outside diameter if anyone wants some... $30 a piece.
Today dad and I are headed back home.
The tractor pull was excellent as usual and we were busy all weekend (no pictures or video).
Thank you to everyone who visited us... we love seeing our Eastern C5... https://t.co/4AxypdaRkM
We made it to Harrisburg after 14.5 hours of driving.
Driving in hard rain and snow for the last two hours sucked but tomorrow will be worth it!
Good night all...
I purchased these mufflers half expecting cheap looking parts but am very pleased!
We are going to place a bulk order and wonder if any of our bike builder friends might like some?
They come with stainless... https://t.co/3xbuuqWBMQ
Two days of trying, failing, thinking, and trying again... I think finally I've got this.
One compromise on rotational exit (not a big deal) but 18" of equal length primaries and anti-reversion traps will make up for it. This is going to be insane!
Waiting for ignition parts again, so today was John Deere G high flow, low sound, all stainless, American made, C5 exhaust day.
(Mic drop...walks off stage)
It needs very minor tweaking but my test swage/die/form works awesome!
I'm machining down the big end a bit to avoid the side pucker but as a first attempt I'm very pleased.
I grabbed a piece of scrap aluminum to make a test swage. This will be used to "square off" round 16 gauge tubing for square port intake and exhaust manifolds.
We just negotiated a factory direct purchase of stamped hollow "donuts". They are mild steel 1.75" o.d. providing incredible creativity when tight turns are required. These would make custom V-twin motorcycle... https://t.co/fRHTBL989q
This steel donut made two intake manifold merges ... this is for the Waukesha 195GK engine in an Oliver chassis.
I think the Farmall 460/560 has more space for what I really wanted. This still fixes the lean-rich issues that need attention.
I am working with a friend to find a specific size spark plug for a custom application. The video I made recently about "side gapping" plugs came up in conversation.
I grabbed my catalog and did a comparison of... https://t.co/gPIDaCVim7
I loved my welding hand support and decided to make more. These have an upgraded stainless steel vertical post. Aluminum cross bar is 12 inches wide and plenty of adjustability. Base is magnetic #95 rated.
I will be adding to our website. $139 (free shipping in the USA).
