16/09/2025 - Due Date to file Original (Non Audit) ITR for FY 2024-25

10/12/2025 - Due Date to file Original (Audit) ITR for FY 2024-25

Kindly extend the Due Date for Belated/Revised ITR by 1 month to 31/01/2026 - After 31/12/2025 tax payer can filed Updated ITR but through Updated ITR he cant claim Tax Refund and also Additional 25% Tax will be there on Tax Liability

This year due to extension of original dates the time period for Revision of ITR get Reduced

Tax Audit due date should be 30 Oct 2025.

ITR Audit due date should be 30 Nov 2025.

The @FinMinIndia should announce an extension in a day or two @PMOIndia @nsitharamanoffc, considering delay in ITR forms impacting available time for tax audits.

In my opinion, the government knows that the Sep 30 due date isn’t practical. It is a power play to project the tax professionals as inferior and incompetent. Testing patience at crucial junctures. Waiting for the begging to exceed all limits. What a dismal state! More so, because there is no reform being achieved through this rigidity.

@FinMinIndia This is not a request but a matter of fairness. A basic courtesy that should’ve been extended without even asking. You too know who is in the wrong here - not the tax professionals, but those behind the delayed software release.

Please don’t wait further. 🙏

Pata nahi ab bhi sab CA shanti se kyu baithe hain?
Impossible hain 8 din kaam khatam ho paana..
Log bahut dino se 15 16 ghante kaam kar rahe hain..
Na kha pee rahe hai.
Na sahi se so rahe hain.

Pendency dekh sab ki halat kharab hain..
Client bhi aa chati par chadne lage hain..
Sarkar kisi ki baat nahi sun rahi hain..
Court ne na suni toh 70% CA firms band ho jayengi..
@nsitharaman toh unelected hain..
Khud bhi jhola uthakar jayengi..
Aur baaki ki bhi dukan band karwayegi..
Pata nahi kis baat ka badla liya ja raha hain..
Inke bakwas GST ko bhi CA logo ne implement karwaya.
New Income Tax Act ko bhi CA karayenge..
Par CA ki halat kharab kar di hain..

If even a letter by our own ICAI President is unable to convince the Finance Ministry a timely extension, then it raises a serious question as if we are we truly as prestigious a profession and professional body as we believe, and does the government genuinely value us as partners in nation-building ?

Tax Audit – Generally, have any of you actually seen a penalty imposed for a late Tax Audit? From my own experience, I have done audits delayed by 10 days to even 2 months, because the records themselves came late. Never did I see a penalty, nor even a notice.

Of course, all efforts for date extension are ongoing and the date should ideally be extended. But till that happens, please don’t bring the dangerous thought into your mind that all audits must be completed by 30th September at any cost. This is harmful for your mental and physical health. Work, but only as much as you can. Take proper rest.

Life is far bigger than audits.

If CBDT intends to extend the Tax Audit Report (TAR) due date, a notification should be issued today itself.
📌 If there is no extension, then CBDT should make it absolutely clear immediately...

If u don't have any stress does not mean that CAs in all over india are not in stress or not in pressure to complete the works.

In this september month we all CAs done continous work without any holiday. many CAs have not enjoyed their sunday since long with their family.

Look at the all tweets made by CAs across the country. They are not stupid that, they are not tweeting for engagement, we all have works to do but we are raising voice for our collegues who genuinely needs us.

I also have so much works and every time my office staff complete works on time. still i am standing with all of my professional mates why ????

there is no personal goal behind all this tweets.

I stand fot my profession and for my professional collegues who really needs me and people like me who supports their voice in their genuine concern.

may be i do not have stress but they do have and we have to stand together.

agar aap kisi ko musibat me sath doge to log aapki musibat me apne bane khade rahennge. karma yahi kehta hai.
