RAUF AREGBESOLA outsmarted President Bola Tinubu, his governors, senators, House of Representatives members, and the entire APC cabinet to defeat the APC in the concluded Osun election.
The last-minute alliance between the ADC and Accord Party yielded positive results and demonstrated that if the opposition parties unite, the APC has gone come 2027.
The 27 APC state governors who were reportedly present in Osun to support and rig the party to victory included; Uba Sani (Kaduna), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Ahmed Usman Ododo (Kogi), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), and others. Their efforts ultimately failed to deliver the expected result.
Congratulations, Governor Adeleke, on your victory! π
Together, we can make it happen in 2027. β
CHAIRMAN OF BIASE, PLEASE STOP RUNNING BIASE COUNCIL LIKE A POLITICAL PARTY*
I have been so occupied lately that I barely have time to write, but I believe it is important to put the records straight.
I understand that the current Chairman of Biase served twice as the APC Chapter Chairman at a time when the PDP was in power. Perhaps that political experience has influenced his approach to governance, because everything now seems to revolve around party politics.
But Biase Local Government Council is not an APC Secretariat.
The Council belongs to the people of Biase, irrespective of their political affiliations. Therefore, public resources should be deployed for the benefit of the entire local government and not concentrated on rewarding party loyalists and political associates.
I find it difficult to understand why, at a time when many communities are crying out for basic infrastructure, the Council is spending millions of naira on vehicles and more than 13 motorcycles for political beneficiaries.
We did not elect the Chairman to buy motorcycles for ward chairmen or cars for friends and political associates. We elected him to govern.
If the Chairman has stated that he was already wealthy before becoming Chairman, then his personal resources should be used for personal friendships and political relationships not public funds, Council allocation or IGR.
The reported over β¦50 million spent on these vehicles could have made a significant difference in our communities. It could have been used to renovate my community health centre, provide chairs and tables for PCN Primary School, Evia, or address other pressing needs across Biase.
Governance is not about how many political loyalists you can reward. Governance is about how many ordinary people can feel the impact of government.
The Chairman must understand that his responsibility extends beyond the APC. He is the Chairman of Biase Local Government Council, and every resident deserves to benefit from the resources of the Council, regardless of party affiliation.
Let us stop treating Biaseβs commonwealth as political patronage.
Biase belongs to all of us. Its resources should work for all of us.

"Distinguished Senator Natasha H Akpoti, my name is Siyaka Abdullazeez. I am writing this with humility and sincerity not out of entitlement but as someone who has genuinely supported you over the years.
I supported you from your days in the SDP where I served as one of the ward executives as the Assistant Financial Secretary in Achagana Ward. I equally served as polling unit agent in 2019 at Achagana Ward unit 004. When you later moved to the PDP and contested the 2023 senatorial election which you won I continued to stand with you despite the kidnapping incident I suffered during my NYSC program in 2022 I still managed to recover enough to cast my vote for you in the 2023 election. I still have a snapshot of my voting evidence as proof of my commitment and support.
Distinguished Senator I am a graduate of Biochemistry from Bayero University Kano with a very good academic record and still never give up in education. Unfortunately despite my education I have continued to struggle upon struggle to find an opportunity that will allow me to become self reliant and support my family.
During my NYSC program in 2022 I was attacked by kidnappers and by the special grace of God I survived. After a short period of recovery I returned to my feet and continued to pursue my dreams. While I was receiving treatment in the hospital I tried to reach out to you. Your PA Bashir Haroon is surely aware of the situation. Unfortunately all my efforts proved abortive.
I also personally reached out to Bashir and Hamza Lamisi during your various empowerment programs pleading that even if it was just a small empowerment opportunity I should be considered. Sadly all my efforts have not yielded any result.
I have decided to make this appeal publicly not to embarrass anyone but because I have tried every available means and I honestly do not know where else to turn.
Distinguished Senator please I am humbly asking you to remember me to secure any job opportunity for me. You have touched the lives of many people through your empowerment programs and acts of kindness. I am not asking for something extravagant. Even if it is Keke Napepe empowerment I will graciously accept it while I will keep my certificate in one corner in my room to go out and hustle for my little family. What may seem small to you could completely change the story of my life.
My mother laboured and sacrificed so much to see me through university but sadly she did not live long enough to enjoy the fruit of her labour. That is one of the things that pains me the most.
You are a mother and a woman who understands the value of sacrifice. I am therefore appealing to your heart and compassion. Please ma help me wipe away these tears. Give me an opportunity to stand on my feet and support my immediate family.
Distinguished Senator please remember me. I am only asking for an opportunity to become useful to myself my family and society.
May God continue to bless you and reward you for every life you have touched."

Abeg my people what do you have to say concerning this matter π€·π€·.
There is another side to this kidney story that people need to know.
I actually have two very close contacts who know about this case. One of them even shared the story on his WhatsApp status about two weeks ago, long before it started gaining attention on VDMβs platform.
And the account I heard from them, including what one of them said he heard directly from boyβs mother, is different from the impression currently being created.
According to the account I received, this boy did not simply go to a hospital for another procedure and unknowingly wake up to discover that his kidney had been removed.
The claim is that the boy knowingly went to the hospital for the purpose of having his kidney removed in exchange for money. His friend had apparently gone through the same process before, and the boy agreed to do it as well.
The issue, came afterward.
The money involved was allegedly paid into the friendβs account, but the boy was allegedly given only β¦150,000. Feeling cheated after the transaction, he eventually started speaking out about what had happened.
Now, if this account is accurate, then that is a very different story from the impression many people are currently getting.
And let me be clear: knowingly agreeing to sell a kidney does NOT make organ trafficking acceptable. It does not excuse exploitation, and it does not make the people involved innocent.
But it absolutely matters when we are trying to establish what actually happened.
