CALS, NUS, hosted a book discussion on Michaela Hailbronner’s The Failures of Others on 13 February 2026. Professor Hailbronner introduced her analysis of ‘arguments from failure’ in legal reasoning across domestic, EU, and international law. Moderated by Dr Sarah Bishop.
From 3–7 February, CALS Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Dr Teng Li attended the 2026 Winter School on Japanese Law at The University of Tokyo, joining participants from 15+ jurisdictions. His participation was sponsored by the University and CALS.
