Sometimes you gotta put your feelings to the side and look at how somebody actually treats you. You can care about them all day, but that doesn’t change the lack of effort, inconsistency, or how many times they make you feel like you don’t matter. I learned to stop letting my feelings make excuses for somebody else’s actions. How you treat me tells me exactly how much you actually care about me.

nobody likes you when you're depressed. Plain & simple. we can talk all day about mental health and how important it is, but the moment u are depressed people start to distance themselves. They see you as negative, a burden and someone too heavy to handle.
Somewhere in your 20s or 30s you'll get the opportunity to rebuild your life after a negative loop, heal from what broke you, live in your own space, reconnect with your discipline, and learn to love yourself again. It's very important that you see that journey through.
i have had a really trying year. my capacity is lower than i’d like it to be, but rn i can’t be concerned w what that looks like to others. all i can do is give myself grace and keep going.
